How do I chat with exhibitors?
Navigate to the company listing in the exhibit hall. Click on the tab "Let's Talk" in their profile. This sends a message to the company representative who is monitoring the chat feature. If you'd like to speak directly with one of the staff, you may contact them through their attendee profile or directly from their profile on the company profile.
My screen keeps freezing.
If your camera is on, turn it off. This often will allow the audio to work better as the bandwidth needs are reduced. If your camera is off and your screen or sound continues to freeze or lag, change your view of the meeting participants. Choosing to view only who is speaking, or only active cameras could help. If you can't get it to work, consider leaving the meeting, closing your browser and then reconnecting to the meeting or restarting your computer and reconnecting.
My audio won't work.
Did you recently change the type of headphones or speakers you were using? Check to make sure the correct device is chosen in the webinar settings. This goes for your microphone too. If relying on your computer's built in microphone, you may run into issues and feedback. Consider using a plugged in set of ear buds with a built in microphone to alleviate sound quality or other issues. If you can't get it to work, consider leaving the meeting, closing your browser and then reconnecting to the meeting or restarting your computer and reconnecting. Be sure to have your preferred audio device plugged in and connected before starting the webinar again.
GoToMeeting and Zoom platforms will be used. Phone access will also be available if computer audio is not available. You do not need to have a webcam or microphone but we certainly recommend having them. Our general sessions will not have camera capabilities for attendees, however the workshops will allow you to participate as a meeting participant. Some tips for the best experience:
Web Browser Help
Check that you are using the latest version of your web browser. If the problem persists, try using a different browser. Switch to hard-wired internet if using WiFi. Or try connecting to the meetings on a mobile device using the GoToMeeting or Zoom apps. You'll need the meeting ID and password if joining from a mobile device. Those are located right under the green join button in the event platform.
